What is Namma Guide?+
Namma Guide is an independent Bengaluru civic advisory platform. We help citizens understand BBMP, Khata, BESCOM, property documentation, and online government service workflows through educational guidance and assisted support.
Trust
Trust questions
Are you a government office or official partner?+
No. We are not a government office, official service centre, broker, legal firm, or authorised partner of BBMP, BESCOM, BWSSB, UIDAI, Passport Seva, Seva Sindhu, DigiLocker, or any government authority.
Can you guarantee approval or faster processing?+
No. Approvals, rejections, fees, timelines, inspections, portal status, and document acceptance are controlled only by the relevant authority. We help you prepare and understand the process, but we cannot guarantee outcomes.
Legal
Legal questions
Do you provide legal advice?+
No. We provide practical civic education, checklist preparation, portal-awareness support, and communication structuring. For legal opinions, property title disputes, tax advice, litigation, or representation, consult a qualified professional.
Services
Services questions
What kind of help do you provide?+
We can help you understand required documents, organise a checklist, read portal status, prepare follow-up points, understand common mistakes, and frame the next step for services like eKhata, BESCOM name transfer, property tax, Aadhaar/PAN corrections, Seva Sindhu, and civic complaints.
Will you submit applications for me?+
Our default support is educational and advisory. We help you understand steps, prepare checklists, and frame communication. Any assisted support is limited by official rules, user authorisation, and the scope agreed for that request.
Privacy
Privacy questions
Do I need to send original documents?+
No. Do not send original documents. If review is needed, share only copies or screenshots necessary for the issue. Avoid sending passwords, OTPs, full payment card details, or unnecessary identity information.
Is my personal data safe?+
We collect only information you voluntarily share for support and use it for limited purposes such as responding, preparing guidance, maintaining service records, handling payments, preventing misuse, and legal compliance. Please read our Privacy Policy for DPDP rights, consent withdrawal, deletion, grievance, and breach-related information.
Can I request correction or deletion of my data?+
Yes, subject to applicable law and operational limits. You can request correction, updating, deletion, consent withdrawal, grievance handling, or nomination by contacting us through the Contact page or WhatsApp link with enough details to identify your request.
Khata
Khata questions
What documents are commonly needed for eKhata?+
Commonly useful documents include sale deed, encumbrance certificate, latest tax paid receipt, previous khata, PID details, and owner ID proof. Requirements vary by property and authority, so always verify current rules on official portals.
BESCOM
BESCOM questions
How does BESCOM name transfer usually work?+
The process usually involves identifying the correct consumer record, preparing ownership proof, submitting the request through the applicable channel, paying any official fee only through authorised methods, and tracking the acknowledgement.
Payments
Payments questions
Are your charges government fees?+
No. Any amount paid to Namma Guide is a service charge for our time and support. It is not a government fee, legal fee, brokerage fee, bribe, facilitation payment, or approval fee. Official fees must be paid only through authorised government channels.
Can I get a refund?+
Refunds depend on whether work has started and what has been delivered. Duplicate or failed payments are reviewed after payment proof. Please read the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
Official verification
Official verification questions
Why should I still check official portals?+
Government rules, fees, forms, document requirements, portal screens, and procedures can change without notice. Our guides are meant to simplify preparation, but official portals and departments remain the final source of truth.
